Wednesday again...how time flies!
A bigger shot of my desk today for WOYWW
On the desk are some Tiddly Inks images - the one on the right is Gossmere who will be turned into Frankensteins bride. You'll spy some of Dyan's new ink sprays on top of my pen stand - haven't used them yet, but will soon!
A couple of you asked about the pie tins last week - no, I'm not a massive pig (hang on, that's a blatant lie) but they're used for melting ultra thick embossing crystals - like a mini melt pot at a fraction of the cost! The idea is courtesy of Sheena Douglass.
We're having a thunderstorm as I type this - I love thunderstorms, we've not had a decent one in ages and this one is pretty close, just hoping the thunder doesn't wake up Connor as we've only just got him to sleep!
Hope you enjoyed the peek at my desk today!
Ah but you had to eat all the pies before you could use the tins! We had a real thunderstorm earlier with a torrential downpour. Love those images :-)

I always love visiting your desk! always looks so cosy :} love love love those images you have on your desk!! enjoy the thunderstorm, hugs mandyxx
ReplyDeleteAre yous so strong that you just remove the pies from the tins and ut them in a storage container then? Yeah. I would be too. You're perfecting the ol' 'push back' method there - and has that cute face been smiling at me from there every week? How come I missed him, he's gorgeous - and hopefully, still sleeping!
ReplyDeletelove your desk - we had a thunderstorm this afternoon with lightning too (HUGS) Liz
ReplyDeleteme!!! well ok I only had one mini one this afternoon. Can't wait to see what you do with dyans inks. I love thunderstorms too, wish we had one here, the air is so muggy and its giving me a headache.

Thanks for commenting on my blog today! I'm way across the "pond" and we had a huge rainstorm today, too. lol Just to clear things up, I use an old calendar just as a pad to stamp off on and write little notes to myself but I haven't torn off the top page in forever. That's my "frugal" curse. hee hee
ReplyDeleteI'm totally impressed about the pie tins for melting pots. Wish I'd known that a few years ago when I thought I had to have one. Thanks for the tip. Love the images, too. Had to enlarge and see your lovely glass containers, too. Happy WOYWW.
ReplyDeleteGreat workspace. Love thunderstorms too, as long as you don't have to go out!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear about the pie tins at last but who ate the pies?? HA!
ReplyDeleteAt one stage our thunder was continuous, on and on... really odd. We needed the rain so much.
Love your pests.
Hi Maz, so glad my distress ink tutorial kicked you up the bum - I love having that effect on folks pmsl. Love your workspace, so compact, cosy and organised. We had fabulous thunderstorms, lightening and heavy gusting winds here in Germany last night - all gone and as hot as ever.
